CCR

Dear CCR friends,

As Christmas approaches, let me give a big THANK YOU to all who have helped us to accomplish the following this past year:

  • CCR offered two weekly men’s groups
  • CCR ministered by phone, e-mail, and in person
  • CCR presented FREEDOM seminar at Lazybrook Baptist Church, St. Mark Lutheran Church, and Nuevo Laredo, Mexico
  • CCR taught at the Exodus National conference in Orlando, FL
  • CCR taught at Exodus regional conference in Georgetown, TX
  • CCR ministered in France and did radio interviews and seminar in Barcelona, Spain
  • CCR did three interviews on DILES, a Spanish program for adolescents aired in 55 Spanish speaking countries
  • CCR ministered at Sagemont Church
  • CCR ministered to youth group at Lazybrook Baptist Church

Some of the troubling news of this year that has caught the attention of the nation and again reminds us of the critical need for the ministry of CCR:

  • Supreme Court over-rules the Texas anti-sodomy bill
  • Episcopal Church elects an avowed, practicing homosexual as a bishop
  • Massachusetts Supreme Court votes in favor of same sex marriage

Churches are more willing to utilize CCR’s resources. We are busier than ever. Yet, our donations have decreased by at least 10%. Our needs are very modest. The last few months we have barely made budget with minimal operating costs. Please consider a generous year-end gift to CCR, and/or joining us as a CCR pledge partner for 2004. We are committed to reaching as many as possible. Thank you so much for your financial support, prayers, and words of encouragement.

Pastor Michael Newman

P.S. Don't forget CCR has account at Randall’s (1982), Gerland’s (105440), Lifeline call 1-800-990-0109, Acct 25584). You can also contribute by credit card at www.helping.org

Tell me more on how to give.
